Each chair is raised by handsome giltwood paw feet below square tapered fluted legs and stunning richly detailed winged caryatids. The two elegant rear legs display a lightly curved design while the straight frieze displays intricately carved pierced giltwood diamond patterns set on a patinated background. Above each front leg are beautiful and finely detailed block rosettes. The upholstered back support is flanked by striking columns with foliate carvings and a fluted pattern.
